Welcome to Parramatta Toastmasters Club

Parramatta Toastmasters Club is one of the largest and most successful Toastmasters Clubs in the world. The club meets in Parramatta, Sydney, Australia to provide training in public speaking and communication and leadership skills.

Parramatta Toastmasters Club has a membership of over 50 and meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month in Parramatta. To find out more about us, see

See all the details of where and when we meet and how to get there.

Short Courses

Parramatta Toastmasters Club runs four 6 week Speechcraft programs each year. These are confidence building introductions to public speaking. The club has a long tradition with Speechcraft which is used

  • Firstly as a way to introduce people to Toastmasters
  • Then, by having them help run courses, as a way of having newer members learn our culture of "Helping people, help themselves develop the skills to help other people."

In this way we have established a long term culture of developing leaders from those who join us, leaders who have gone on to serve Toastmasters and the community. Read all about Speechcraft

Special Features

This website is famous in the Toastmasters world for two special features

  • Our online Guide to Assignments

These are a great help to newer members in learning how to present assignments both with the standard of excellence we expect and within the culture of our club meetings. See the index to our Guide to Assignments.

  • Our Speech Writing Resources and Library

Put together for over a decade, our index of speech writing resources harnesses the resources of the internet to help people research and develop speeches and to add the right humour or quotation. See our index of Speech Writing Resources
